Waters Kia Offers Up To £2,000 Off With '7 Year Switch'

Waters Kia is extending the benefits of the UK scrappage scheme with the introduction of 7 Year Switch. Offering Chingford and St Albans owners of cars over seven years old the chance to trade up to a new Kia, the 7 Year Switch delivers Kia's industry leading seven year warranty and saves Chingford and St Albans locals up to £2,000 off the list price of a new Kia.

The 7 Year Switch gives Chingford and St Albans customers the chance to knock £2,000 off a Kia Soul or cee'd*. Or, they could save £1,500 off any Picanto, Rio or Venga.

The urban-friendly Kia Soul is a concept car for the road, combining unique styling with the practicality needed in a family car.
Waters Kia customers could see themselves in a brand new Soul for as little as £9,495.

The brand new Venga went on sale in the UK on 1st February and is the latest compact Kia to offer fresh design, interior practicality and the sort of interior space normally found in a larger car.

The compact Kia Picanto offers maximum practicality in a minimum sized package and with 7 Year Switch is only £5,135 on-the-road.

The scheme works in a similar way to the Government's scrappage scheme and is open to cars between seven and ten years old with a valid MOT certificate. Customers must have owned their cars for at least 6 months.

Like all good offers, the 7 Year Switch will not be around forever and only applies to new car orders taken up to 31st March 2010.

Steve Bullimore, General Manager at
Waters Kia said: "Once again we're giving more reasons for potential new customers to take a fresh look at Kia. We have exciting new, fuel efficient, safe and high-quality cars in our showrooms and every single model is covered by the best new car warranty in Europe - seven years and 100,000 miles."

Safety Comes First At Waters Mazda

With milder temperatures and longer, lighter days approaching, many people will be eager to make the most of the weekends with the family by hitting the road and enjoying the change of season. To help drivers in the area prepare their cars for the increased mileage, Waters Mazda is offering a free Visual Health Check to ensure vehicles are in tip-top shape for spring weekend outings.

The Mazda service team will perform a full vehicle inspection, checking windscreens for damage, checking tyre pressure and tread, making sure batteries are in good condition, ensuring lights work effectively, testing brakes, steering and suspension, amongst other important safety procedures.

“Mazda is committed to road safety and we fully believe that these vital checks can help to give peace of mind to the car owner and will ultimately prevent road accidents and save lives,” explains Steve Bullimore, dealer principal at Waters Mazda. “Every year thousands of people are needlessly killed or seriously injured on UK roads, but many of these accidents can easily be prevented by drivers ensuring that simple safety checks are made regularly. Waters Mazda wants to help make sure that Barnet and Chingford are safe places in which to live and drive.”

A Mazda Visual Health Check Report is completed for each inspection carried out and every item checked is classified into one of three categories; green, amber or red, indicating clearly whether any items need urgent attention.

Mazda’s free Visual Health Check can be booked by calling Waters Mazda on 0845 871 5253 for Barnet or 0845 871 7101 for Chingford.

Waters Mazda wishes all drivers in Barnet and Chingford safe and happy driving this spring.

Waters Mazda Extends Driving School Programme

Waters Mazda is extending its driving school programme to 31st March, giving driving instructors in Barnet and Chingford more time to take advantage of enhanced offers on both the Mazda2 and Mazda3. The scheme includes access to low-rate finance, free of charge metallic/mica paint and dual controls, among other benefits.

The Mazda retailer initially launched into the driving instructor market last year with the Mazda2, adding the Mazda3 to the programme last November due to popular demand.

“We have experienced a high volume of enquiries from driving schools in the area since the programme started, so we are delighted to be able to help even more customers switch to a Mazda2 or Mazda3 – cars which are becoming increasingly popular to learn in,” said Steve Bullimore, General Manager.

All Mazda2 and all-new Mazda3 models, with the exception of limited edition cars, are available at Waters Mazda under the programme, which is specifically aimed at the 17,000 qualified driving instructors in the UK who are self-employed or work for small driving schools.

The programme includes free-of-charge supply and fitment of He-Man dual controls (He-Man is the UK’s leading supplier of dual controls), header board including graphics, metallic paint and access to low rate finance on both Mazda2 and all-new Mazda3 models.

In addition, on all-new Mazda3, a GPS secondary speedometer is fitted free of charge to
the passenger side dashboard as the ‘tunnel’ design of the driver’s speedometer makes it difficult for the driving instructor to view.

To find out more about the Mazda range call in to either of our Barnet or Chingford showrooms , e-mail us or call us on 0845 871 5253 for Barnet or 0845 871 7101 for Chingford.

Roar of Interest At the 80th Geneva Motor Show?

Peugeot is anticipating a roar of interest at the 80th Geneva Motor Show this March when the company unleashes its two stunning Concept Cars, the 5 by Peugeot luxury saloon and the SR1 Sports Coupé, in a public arena for the very first time.

Both will share centre stage with the eagerly awaited Peugeot RCZ Sports Coupé displayed just weeks before it goes on sale, together with the What Car? award winning duo of the 3008 Crossover and 5008 MPV.

5 by Peugeot

Sporting the newly evolved Lion badge, the stylish 5 by Peugeot created instant commotion thanks to its bold design and innovations, when details were first released earlier this month. Powered by Peugeot's HYbrid4 diesel hybrid technology, it produces 200 bhp and zero emissions when in electric mode. This revolutionary technology also provides fuel economy of over 74 mpg and emissions of just 99g/km without any compromise in performance or refinement.

Peugeot's environmental leadership will also be on display in Geneva. Whether it's the Peugeot i0n, the first 100% electric vehicle in Europe, the confirmation that the BB1 mobility project will become reality, or Peugeot's pioneering diesel particulate emission filter technology fitted to 2.3 million vehicles worldwide. In fact 50% of Peugeot vehicles sold in Europe have emissions of less than 130 g/km of CO2.

Geneva will also see the unveiling of Peugeot's e-HDi micro-hybrid technology to be launched in 2011, which provides reductions in fuel consumption and emissions of up to 15% in urban use, and the 3008 HYbrid4 plug-in to be launched in 2012, with CO2 emissions of just 50g/km.

SR1 Concept RCZ Sports Coupé

The spotlight will also shine on the awe-inspiring SR1 Concept which, together with the RCZ Sports Coupé - already voted the world's most beautiful car at the 25th International Automobile Festival - proves that Peugeot's flair for stylish, feline design is very much alive and kicking.

Joining the concept cars will be the high flying duo of the 3008 and 5008, the former basking in the glory of being awarded Car of the Year by What Car? magazine for 2010, whilst the latter enjoys the title MPV of the Year from the same magazine.

Finally, Peugeot's innovative integral mobility programme, Mu by Peugeot, will be included within the Peugeot stand, demonstrating Peugeot's unique position of being able to offer a number of mobility solutions, cars, light commercial vehicles, scooters and bicycles.
